First, let’s dive into the summary real quick. The story revolves around Kim Mo-Mi who always wanted to become a K-pop idol as she loved singing and dancing.

Korean Industry Is All About Toxic Beauty Standards

Getting Plastic surgery is the new norm in South Korea to live up to the toxic beauty standards

Lastly, we are missing the main lesson from this hit K-Drama Mask Girl and its toxic beauty standard in the Korean industry.

If you actually think that in every K-drama, we see every lead with a kiss-rose complexion, big dolled-up eyes, puckered lips, and a model figure it has created so many insecurities in youngsters.

Plastic surgery is very common in South Korea and people feel pressured to go under the knife just to avoid bullying and rejection.
