Our beloved Chandler Bing, Matthew Perry died at the age of 54

Our Funniest and carefree Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing from the Friends sitcom, is no more. It’s pretty shocking because we never thought he would ever leave us.

He was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his own home in Los Angeles. He was just 54 years old, the news was circulating that he had drowned.

Perry was in the most popular “Friends” TV show from 1994 to 2004. Friends series revolves around six friends navigating their dating, adult, and career lives. However, Friends became an internationally global hit because it became the most-watched TV series of all time.

Interesting fact: The last episode was watched by more than 55 Million in the United States, breaking all the records at that time.

Perry was such an incredible person from the inside as well. When he played Chandler in Friends, he set the bar too high for us because we all wanted Chandler ourselves.

Also, Perry was naturally gifted, and the impact of this comedic genius was felt everywhere. Even, this guy’s snippet is the most hilarious thing you’ll ever watch.

This role earned him an Emmy nomination in 2002. But the saddest part is that he couldn’t remember filming the last 3 years of Friends because of drug addiction.

Perry tried many times to overcome drug and alcohol addiction. Poor guys tried many rehabs to come out of this drug addiction for several years. Matthew Perry experienced many health problems and went for many surgeries, especially for colon rupture.

In his 2022 memoir, “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Things”, he came clean about his struggles and addiction. He shocked the world when he revealed that his first drink was at the age of 14. Matthew Perry spent almost half of life in rehab.

Perry became the best-selling memoirist, although he wanted to tell his darkest days to survivors who made it out finally.

We are truly grateful for being a part of Friends, which made our lives a bit better when we are down especially. Along with Matthew, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer become overnight stars because of Friends.

We are heartbroken at the sudden demise of Matthew Perry; his legacy will always live. We all miss him so much already. Now, watching Friends is never going to be the same.

It’s such a huge loss. He was the most loving, sarcastic, and romantic person, and now we will never going to see him again. It feels so personal already. Now, we’re going to watch Friends and cry our eyes out.
